Matt Janning’s Return Is Official

Mens Sana Basket informs you that they have reached an agreement through the end of the year with American guard, Matt Janning, who is returning to Siena after starting the season with cibona in Zagabria.
Born in Watertown on June 22, 1988, Janning plays the NCAA with the Northeastern Huskies (5.4 ppg avg final season) before transferring to the D-League, where he plays 41 games with the Maine Red Claws (20 games and 9.5 ppg avg) and the Rio Grande Vipers (21 games with as 10.4 ppg avg). The 2011/2012 season he spends with Casale Monferrato under the leadership of Marco Crespi (12.7 ppg avg in 25 games). He arrived in Siena last year to play for Montepaschi, with whom he wins the Coppa Italia and the National Title. He left Siena at the end of the season to play Eurocup with Cibona in Zagabria.
