Joshua (Josh) Neville Carter was born in Dallas, Texas on November 10, 1986. His role on court is forward. He hones his skills at Texas A&M, where he plays from 2005 2009 (13.8 ppg average his final season). In 2009, he plays Summer League with Dallas. The 2009/2010 season, he heads to Europe on EWE Baskets Oldenburg roster in the German Championship. They win the German Supercup and play Euroleague. In 2010, Carer participates in Summer League with the New Orleans Hornets and then flies to Israel to wear Maccabi Ashdod B.C’s jersey for two years.  The summer of 2012, he plays Summer League with the Denver Nuggets. Carter played the last championship season with Russia’s BC Spartak Saint Petersburg.

He participated in the 2007 Panamerican games with the U.S. Nationals.
