Spencer Nelson was born in Pocatello, Idaho on July 11, 1980. His role on court is forward

After high school, he plays the NCAA Championship from 2002-2005 with Utah State University.  He then heads to Germany and is part of Bamberg’s roster the 2005/2006 season. The following year, he comes to Italy to wear Benetton Treviso’s jersey. He remains there one season, winning the Supercup and the Italian Cup, of which he’s named MVP. The 2007/2008 season takes him to Bologna, team Fortitudo, with whom he only plays 9 championship games and one Uleb Cup game because of an injury. In 2008/2009, he moves to Greece to play for Aris Salonicco, and later Peristeri Athens (2009/2010). The following season brings his arrival in Spain, the Grand Canaries, where he remains until June 2013.
