Malik Hairston was born in Detroit on February 23 1987. His role on the court is small forward.
He came out from the University of Oregon was chosen with the 48th pick overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns who then traded him to the San Antonio Spurs.
For the season 2008/2009 he played 13 games with the Spurs and then moved to the Austin Toros (D-league) where, after playing 32 games, he resulted the third best scorer of the League by averaging 23,7 points.
Last season he wore 38 times the San Antonio’s jersey (recording his high-season 16 points against Golden State) but then moved back twice to the Austin Toros where he averaged 29,1 ppg, 4,7 rpg and 3 assists in 15 games.
In October of 2010, the new season's first trophy arrives with the Supercoppa.
