David Moss was born in Chicago on September 9, 1983. His role on court is forward.

David Moss beings his career the 2002/03 season with Indiana State in the NCAA and, in 4 seasons, ends his experiences in the United States with promising numbers that show constant growth: from 13,2ppg the first year to 16.6 the last. For the 2006/07 season, he moves to Poland where he signs a contract with Polpak Swiecie, but only plays 14 games (with shooting averages that weren’t bad at all) before being released. He comes to Italy the following season and the first team to welcome him is Fileni Jesi. There, Moss plays an excellent season and closes with strong stats (17.6 ppg, 6.6 rpg) that earn him a step up in category and a call to Teramo from Andrea Capobianco, his coach at Jesi. His impact on the Italian championship is very strong and Moss emerges as a protagonist in a highly positive season for Bancatercas Teramo, which concludes in team’s making it to the playoffs. He has received many acknowledgments and awards during his career, like winning the Legadue Cup with Jesi, as well as being named Legadue’s best small forward and the A Series’ best small forward last season. In October of 2010, the new season's first trophy arrives with the Supercoppa.

Moss stands out as a star during his season with Bancatercas Teramo, concluded by reaching the playoffs: 13.4 points per game with 54% on 2’s and 47.3% on threes, topped off with 6.3 rebounds for an average index rating of 16.7 (sixth in general ranking) and an average of 35.1 minutes per game - making him the most utilized A Series player. He signs a three-year contract the following season with Montepaschi, who decides to loan him to Virtus Bologna for the 2009/2010 season.  Moss scores an average of 11 points per game in the Black V’s jersey, and his season high is 24 in Ferrara against Carife.
