Andrea Michelori was born in Milan on February 20, 1978. His role on court is power forward.
He develops his skills at Olimpia, with whom he wins the 1996 national title and reaches the Coppa Korac finals the same year. In 2002, he wears Pallacanestro Biella’s jersey, and stays for two seasons before going to Pallacanestro Cantù in 2004/2005 and 2005/2006. He spends the next two years on roster at Virtus Bologna, where he wins the national title. Michelori then arrives at Juve Caserta for 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 where he made the playoffs that latter season and gained access to Euroleague’s preliminaries. He came to Montepaschi last year, wins all three of the nation’s titles (Supercoppa, Coppa Italia and Scudetto) and participates in Euroleagues Final Four in Barcelona in May 2011 (third place). MICHELORI AND THE NATIONALS - He’s taken part in various youth nationals, with whom he even participated in the 1998 Under 22 Europeans. With the first team nationals, he participated in the 2006 Worlds and won a bronze medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games.
