On behalf of the entire Polisportiva Mens Sana 1871, President Piero Ricci expresses his congratulations to Mens Sana Basket on winning their seventh Supercoppa: “A win earned at the end of a beautiful and hard-fought game. It’s a great moment in sports that makes us all proud once again to be Sienese and Mensanites. Despite having a roster that’s been profoundly and radically renovated, Mens Sana heads to the National Championship’s starting gate as protagonists, supported by our great technical tradition and the skills players have demonstrated on court (one that stands out is Hackett). It’s a history that repeats itself and is renewed with each important step, like this victory. The only thing left to do is continue on this path with the same dedication, mentality and enthusiasm when facing the championship and cup, which are just around the corner.
