Green-and-White Report Cards
27 January Press Release
La Nazione
COURNOOH 7,5 Triple and dunk on a fastbreak. Punctual, precise. Very few mistakes but, most of all, he produces. and he produces a lot – even rash moves – courageous like the layup for a a 10 point lead. And then he ends it too. Heck yeah!
HAYNES 5,5 Disastrous first quarter with a -3 index rating – just one basket because of opposing carelessness on defense, no assists, three triples that hit the rim, just off kilter. Then to great runs (for 5 points) third quarter. Ends with -4 index rating. Unimaginable for him.GREEN 7,5 A great dunk built from an even nicer assist. Most consistent on offense. Amazing third quarter of almost 8 points in a row. given all that, I guess we can excuse a few holes on defense. Closes out with 60% in a double 3/5.
CARTER 5 White doesn’t have any trouble from him. Maybe he didn’t know who he was dealing with. The same situation against
Kaukenas. Perfect on the line. But that 7/7 can’t hide the 0/5 from the arc.VIGGIANO 6 Invisible game until that good run at the end.
NELSON 5 His early defense on White is reminiscent of Carter’s. No rebounds.
RESS 6,5 The verb in Sienese is ’traventare’ for what he did second quarter think he was passing the ball to Hunter. He signals to the crowd to support the team. Becomes kind of like Buffon in the backbaord.HUNTER 6,5 Convincing on defense. Moves well and consistent. Only 18 minutes on court because his colleague from Austria was having a great night. Lots of good news.
ORTNER 7,5 The couple of times he trips up Kaukenas should be studied by his colleagues. Jumper at the start of the second half without delay. Lots of rebounds(9, including 4 offensive), lots of right choices. Welcome back
Ben!
