What’s going to happen over the next four weeks? The future is hard to predict, but not in this case. Mens Sana will, in fact, play four consecutive away games. And that includes some impressive trips. The one to Milan starts tomorrow and the team doesn’t return until late night Sunday since Rai Sport pushed the game back. So, team will be back in Siena at 3 Monday morning. Tuesday, they depart for the Czech Republic. There’s Nimburk, and it might be useful to mention that the two points are beginning to weigh a lot. They return to Siena late afternoon on Thursday, departure for Cremona is Saturday morning and return to Siena…five days later. Because Monday the team flies out of Milan for Tel Aviv: without passing go. Game against Maccabi Haifa – with related trips – Wednesday night, then their return to Italy in the afternoon the day after. Two full weeks without home games. And when Mens Sana gets back to playing at PalaEstra, it will be against Reggio Emilia and a certain Rimantas Kaukenas. A standing ovation that deserves an appropriate setting.
