IT’S not breakfast. The team never has breakfast together when they practice or play at home. It’s brunch, though at a rather early hour. MENS SANA met yesterday morning at around 10. The buffet didn’t offer any pastries or pancakes, but rather vegetables and parmigiano reggiano. Why? This has a been a completely atypical week. First, there were four consecutive days without games. That’s only happened one other time during the season, at the start of. And there’s an atypical game on the horizon: Montepaschi heads on court tomorrow at 1pm. This is the reason why, for the past three days, the team has been practicing a the same time as they’ll play tomorrow a the Forum in Assago. Departure is scheduled fora strange time 11:15. And before boarding the bus, the team obviously needs nutrients in order to have enough energy to bring to court. It could be a long, exciting day. We need to win one game. Afterall, that’s how the Coppa Italia works.
