THE COUNT DOWN, the ones fans can almost taste, starts today. In fact, at 10 this morning, advance ticket sales begin for game three of the Olimpiakos series, the only match guaranteed at PalaEstra. Looking at things in terms of taking small steps forward and guided by Mens Sana’s philosophy, everyone’s hope is to also play game two in Siena. Though a 3-0 for the green-and-whites is a crazy, unimaginable scenario, the same 3-0 for Olimpiakos, calendar in hand isn’t to be discounted. This is why. No matter how things go in Athens next week, game-3 offers a change to prolong the series, to give green-and-white fans the last possible Euroleague game at PalaEstra. And it’s Mens Sana fans who’ll actively participate in making this event, unimaginable after the first two Top 16 matches, one that is unforgettable. So sales begin with season tickets to confirm: Fedeltà and Euroleague have until 7 pm on Tuesday, March 22nd. From the following day, unconfirmed seats will go on sale. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10-1 and 4-7 (Saturday 10-1). It’s not hard to imagine a sold out PalaEstra, just like it should be at "Peace and Friendship Stadium in Athens" with 11,390 seats for the big basketball event. Let’s hope everyone keeps in mind the arena’s name.
