A strong second place for Mens Sana Basket’s young athletes at the Gesam Cup in Lucca, where teams like Stella Azzurra and Virtus Bologna also participated.
 
In a group along with Stella Azzurra and Pall. Lucca, our boys took the round with two impressive performances and directly made the finals against Virtus Bologna. Both teams were did a great job and created an exciting game. Siena struck back after every attack and was up by 3 at the half. The balance continued third quarter, but was broken by impressive precision from Bologna on offense that produced 4 triples for the match.
 
When it was over, there was plenty of applause and compliments for everyone on playing great games.
